It's hard to be everywhere at once. Bid wisely and become a fashion icon! Or, spread yourself too thin and end up a fashion flop!
Every turn, there are three simultaneous auctions. You can’t win them all. But, can you win the right ones? Compete to model different types of fashion, each with their own scoring criteria.
Each turn, new cards will be available in each of the three cities. Simultaneously, all players make secret bids in each city using their influence card. The player who bids the most in a particular city gets the first pick in that city. Second most, second pick, and so on.
Some of the cards you collect will give you immediate points. Others will replace influence cards in your hand, giving you more bidding power. However, most of the cards help you compete for magazine covers through set collection. These score big points at the end of the game.
The model with the highest score after seven rounds wins the game!

Fashion Tips By Allplay
Timing is Everything
Plan your hand strategically! Couture has many interesting ways to improve your bidding power or score points. But, many of them have negative effects. Can you use them when you need to, then ditch them before the game ends?
Don't Go For Too Much
Try to understand who is far ahead on different end-game scoring conditions. You may want to “give up” on certain objectives to improve your other options.
How To Play
1. Set Up The Auctions
Every round, there are auctions in New York, Paris, and Tokyo.
2. Bid On Auctions With Cards In Hand
Use your cards to bid. Be careful bidding on areas with “flops!”
3. Pick Cards In Order Based On Bids
If only one person bids in a location, they get every card there!
4. Score Based On What You’ve Picked Up
Did you earn enough magazines (though set collection)? Or pick up enough points throughout the runway shows to win?

Why We Love It
Fashion - Brenna twisted the script compared to other fashion games. In Couture, you aren't designing clothes. You play the role of the model, earning the right to wear the best designs. And to top it all off, the art is fantastic.
Development - We made three gameplay changes from the original Golden Animal: The player count has been expanded from 5 to 6 players. More cards can be played to each city at higher player counts, and more variety has been added to each card's scoring conditions.
Auction - The auction in Couture is different than normal because you are doing three auctions at once. Also, win or lose, you get your bid cards back. The auction sets draft order, so coming in second or third is still valuable.
