Simple Turns, Infinite Depth
Turns are dead simple — move a character or spend its ability as you race to lay out your tokens first. Keep the pressure on your opponent by blocking their figures and laying your tokens on difficult-to-reach spaces. Pull the trigger on your character abilities when they are most effective, and carefully prepare for your opponent’s character abilities. Then, in the second game when you have switched sides, gleefully use your opponent’s strategies against them as you scramble to prevent them from doing the same to you.

These characters boast advanced abilities such as adding another character to the board during the game or pressuring your opponent with an alternate victory condition. Add the Gates module to your play session to spice up the board with powerful tile abilities. When a character passes through a gate, they trigger its power.
A new way to experience Ichor
Collector's Edition
Ichor Collector's Edition is a new version released in 2026 and features 3 key changes from the standard edition:
- It includes a standard folding board instead of a cloth board.
- The characters are flat-laying tiles instead of standees. Flip a character face-down to show that its ability has been used.
- The Reinforcements & Gates Expansion is included in the box!
This version is still compatible with all deluxe upgrades (including the acrylic standees).

With over 800 games and books published and dozens of awards received, Dr. Knizia is a legend in the board game industry. Though games have been a big part of his life since he was a child, Reiner initially studied to become a doctor of mathematics and then worked as a banker in England. When he reached 40, he decided it was time for a major change. Life should be fun. Games are fun. And people should have fun with games.
